Do you happen to know were one may get the sheet music for the tune "Bays of Harris"? I've been trying to get it for a while! No-one seems to know where you can get it (including the author!).
Dear Ben,
I do.
Here is the link. It's admittedly pricey. http://www.crownandcovenant.com/Sing_Psalms_staff_split_leaf_p/cm143.htm
I purchased the book about 2 years ago, for the sole reason of securing the sheet music to the Bays of Harris.
Please tell me a little more about yourself and where you're from.
Cheers,
JJS
Dear Ben,
Duh. I finally figured out how to find your blog and your profile, so now I know more.
Also, now that I know where you are, my comment about where to get Sing Psalms is irrelevant. You should be able to get it cheaper where you are. It's published by the Free Church of Scotland.
Oh, and the owner of the copyright is Bandleader Publications.
Hope that is of some help.
Cheers,
JJS
Thanks a lot. I've managed to get hold of a copy of the sheet music now!
Ben, that's brilliant! Those singing parts are beautiful, aren't they?
Yes, they certainly are!
